Specialist knowledge and technological innovation, combined with an extensive legal database, is the basis for the overall Karnov’s revenue stream. Around 80% of our products and services are subscription based and paid annually in advance,’ providing resilient and visible revenues. The business is split in online solutions, delivering insights at the right moment in the users’ workflow, and offline products, for deep learning and research situations.
The vast majority of online products and solutions are subscription-based and builds on access to the legal online platforms across the business. The online products are tailored for the purpose of the various segments in both content and functionality.
Both subscription and non -subscription based, Karnov Group publishes about 160 titles a year. The publications are used both for education purposes at university level, as well as specialist titles for legal, tax, and accounting professionals.
Karnov Group delivers courses to professionals in the Scandinavian legal industry, aiming at obtaining qualifying points for their continued legal education. These can be both tailormade for individual customers as well as topic specific, and are mainly transaction based.
On a subscription and transaction base, Karnov delivers guides and workflow solutions for various industries, supporting the ensurance of international legal compliance as well as process and value optimization in advisory roles.
